Access to the island Pag
Located in Dalmatia, in the northwest of the coast of Zadar, Pag is connected to the mainland by a bridge south (direction Zadar) and a ferry to the north (15 minutes journey), making it a very easy island of access.

The island of Pag is inhabited since prehistoric times and its inhabitants, for many centuries, benefited the most of scarce resources: salt and sheep.
The main town on the island: Pag - of the same name, has also been built in the fifteenth century in the vicinity of salt still in operation today. Pag is also the capital of lace and it is still common to find lace practicing their art in the narrow streets with old stone houses. You will find in Pag original old buildings: churches, Rector's Palace and stores of salt.
The discovery of the island of Pag will take you to small villages like Kolan, which produces the famous Pag cheese from sheep's milk, one of the finest gastronomic heritage,which got awards in the most famous international competitions, or Povljana with its church close to the sea, or Simuni with its marina and true nautical paradise. You will appreciate these small villages like many shelters in the calm and beauty of the landscape.
Throughout the rock, the landscape is marked by miles of stone walls that separate the land; sheep hide in every corner.
There are many curiosities to discover, as in Lun, the tip of the island, where there is a wild olive tree more than a millennium, which has withstood the onslaught of bura, the cold and powerful wind; or yet to Novalja, the Pag triangle which also attracts tourists and scientists: a trace triangle on the rocky ground, supposed to have been left by a UFO.
In the north of the island, Novalja, lively resort with its famous beach Zrce, called the new Ibiza, Croatian paradise that attracts young partygoers from all the parts of Europe throughout the summer.
