Island Hvar
Hvar, one of the largest islands in the Adriatic and one of the tourist island of Croatia for 140 years.
Hvar is an elongated island with a unique charm, surrounded by beautiful natural beaches and clear sea. Its countless bays and coves are home to old fishermen's houses, more or less isolated in an exceptional nature environment. Some have been renovated and converted into holiday homes: the sea, the sun and the Mediterranean vegetation; for fans of quiet and nature.
Hvar is covered in large part by a verdant scent of lavender and wild herbs. There are vineyards, some famous, like Zavala south, olive groves, pine forests ...
Hvar has always been a historical crossroads of many cultures; this is reflected in its rich architectural and cultural heritage. The old towns of Stari Grad and Hvar are particularly well preserved, the Baroque, Renaissance, Venetians live together ... for the feast of the eyes; the narrow streets, stone houses, religious and cultural buildings ... everything invites you to linger. Remnants of the past are everywhere, in towns, villages and countryside.
The Tradition marine and agricultural of the island of Hvar is reflected even today in its cuisine: fish, olive oil, wine, honey, lavender and aromatic and medicinal herbs.
Hvar offers a wide tourist offer and numerous sports and cultural activities: water sports to cycling tours, festivals and Festivities, town accommodation at home fishing in the wild.
Experience the authentic island, protected environment and particularly mild and pleasant sunny weather in spring and autumn!
