Dubrovnik is situated on a peninsula on the south of the Dalmatian coast. Nicknamed  "Pearl of the Adriatic",  it is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in Europe.

This medieval city-museum surrounded by walls nearly 2 km long is classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. It is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Croatia.

The former Republic of Raguse bears testimony to its rich history through its monuments and paved streets. Damaged several times, it has managed to preserve its churches, monasteries, cathedral, palace and stone residences, fountains, towers and fortresses all of which constitute an artistic and harmonious masterpiece where there is a mix of architectural styles and influences from past centuries: Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque.
From the heights of its ramparts, the view dominates the entire town of pink roofs: steep and narrow streets, churches and bell-towers, multiple stairways and narrow passages. Dubrovnik is a small oasis of stone surrounded by the sea, and is quite simply magnificent!
Take a stroll through the town and let yourself be captivated by its irresistible charm, with its special atmosphere from the mix of a Latin love of life and a Slavic romanticism, full of life and generosity.

At the bottom of the ramparts, you can access one of Dubrovnik’s beaches, a little pebble beach which is an exceptional place for sea-bathing.
A cable car at the exit of the old town takes you to the top of a hill within a few minutes and from here you can admire the imposing, panoramic view of the town and the coast.

Within easy reach of the town, by taking take a 10 minute boat crossing, you may visit the small island of Lokrum, a protected area, housing an ancient abbey, botanical gardens, old fort and a succession of small rocky beaches, ideal for spending the day.

In the area surrounding Dubrovnik, the Elaphiti islands are stretched out in a well preserved archipelago; take a boat for the day and head for Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan, the 3 inhabited islands, with their fortifications, old churches and sailors’ houses, amongst the Alep pines and rose laurels.

Dubrovnik is an interesting point of departure from which to visit the peninsula of Peljesac and its vineyards, the islands of Mlijet and Korcula or further afield the wild Lastovo; discover the agricultural landscapes of the Neretva delta in the north and of Konovale in the south; visit the place of pilgrimage Medugorje and Mostar in Bosnia, or even venture as far as the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro.

Due to its treasures and its Mediterranean climate Dubrovnik is a destination sought after in all seasons; ideal for prolonged weekends as well as for longer holidays. It will not fail to awaken a spirit of discovery for exploring the town. Take a break in this inspiring region, for activity holidays or for enjoying nature, for relaxation and for excursions.
