CROASEA is a tourist agency providing services via the internet, which offers holiday accommodation to customers on the website croatie-location.fr. CROASEA is the rental provider in the name and on behalf of the owner. As such, it transmits by contract to the customer the descriptions, terms of reservation and payment as well as any other useful information and organizes the reservation with the owner. CROASEA establishes with each owner a strict contract based on the General Conditions of Sal. The owner is required to respect it; he is himself committed to the smooth running of the reservation and the stay of the customers. All exchanges are made by e-mail for greater speed and ease.
Almost all of the photos appearing on our site were taken by ourselves or transmitted by the owners of the rentals. Some photos were loaned by and published with the agreement of the Croatian National Tourist Office, as part of the promotion of tourism in Croatia.
All the accommodations we offer are categorized according to the official standards in force in Croatia defined by the Ministry of Tourism and the owners have the approval to exercise this activity.
As an intermediary, CROASEA and/or the owner puts the photos and descriptions online, in the desire to be as objective as possible. However, these documents can in no case be presented as a contractual obligation.
The prices indicated on the site include the various charges (water, gas, electricity) and any possible supplement would be specified in the presentation of the accommodation (pets, cleaning, air conditioning on request, etc.).
Some owners may ask for a deposit upon arrival at the premises to cover any damage or failure to clean the premises at the end of the stay. This deposit is to be paid in cash and is returned upon departure; if this is the case, this will be noted in the description.
A tourist tax is to be paid by all vacationers, according to the regulations in force in Croatia, to be paid on site directly to the owner at the beginning of the stay. In most cases it is included in the rates, this is then mentioned on the rental price page.
The applicable prices are those displayed on the site on the day of booking. These prices may be subject to change at any time by Couleur Croatia.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances delaying arrival or causing an early departure, no partial refund will be made, the rental being a package purchased from date to date.
Croasea offers the booking method with availability request.
Booking conditions:
1/ The customer must send a request to Croasea by filling out the form to check the availability of the accommodation, indicating the chosen dates, the number of people and their contact details.
2/ Croasea will contact the owner for confirmation and will confirm the availability to the customer by email as soon as possible.
3/ Once Croasea sends the availability confirmation, the customer has 2 working days to complete the reservation by making the deposit according to the conditions sent to him by Croasea for the chosen rental.
After this period, Croasea can no longer guarantee the availability of the rental properties.
4/ Once the reservation is confirmed, the customer pays a deposit usually equal to 30% of the total amount (corresponding to the deposit paid by Croasea to the owner and the agency commission) by bank transfer to the Croasea account, whose contact details will be communicated with the availability confirmation.
Bank fees for international transfers are borne by the customer.
Receipt of the deposit is considered a firm and final reservation. Croasea will inform the customer by email.
In some cases, the amount of the deposit may differ from the 30% of the total amount indicated on the respective product page.
Payment of the deposit requires that the customer has read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Payment:
According to the owners, 2 payment methods are available to pay the remaining amount, which are indicated on the page of the respective product. The chosen method is indicated for each rental:
1/ The remaining amount is paid directly to the owner in cash in euros upon arrival.
2/ The remaining amount is paid by bank transfer to the Croasea bank account no later than 40 days before the start of the stay. Any bank fees incurred for international transfers are borne by the customer (since Croatia joined the European Union and the SEPA zone, these have been minimal or even non-existent).
In case of option 2, in case of a short-term booking less than 40 days before the start of the stay, the full price must be paid at the time of booking by bank transfer to the Croasea bank account.
Note: All payments are made in Euro (Croatian currency).
Possible exceptions:
In some special cases, the payment and cancellation conditions may differ and be adapted to special situations (special rental features and/or additional service offers). In this case, they will be explicitly mentioned on the product page on our website.
In case of a last-minute booking, to speed up the booking process, it is sufficient to send us proof of the transfer request made by your bank for us to consider it effective.
Sending of exchange voucher:
The voucher will be sent by CROASEA to the client by email:
Option of payment 1: upon receipt of the deposit on the bank account of CROASEA.
Option of payment 2: upon receipt of the balance on the bank account of CROASEA.
This voucher specifies the contact details of the people on holiday, the number of people, the arrival and departure dates, the chosen property, the payments made and the remaining payments in the case of payment on arrival. Along with the voucher, the client will be sent the contact details of the owner, the address, a map and any other useful documents.
The voucher is to be given to the owner in exchange for the property.
Changes:
Any request for change should be made by email to CROASEA. Changes of date or of number of people for a property with the same owner will be made free of charge if the new request is possible.
In all other cases, the original request is subject to the cancellation rules.
Cancellation:
Any request for cancellation should be made by email to CROASEA. The date of receipt of the cancellation is authoritative for the costs to be paid.
For any cancellation made by the client, the amount of the deposit is not refund to the client, whatever the option of payment.
For option 2 of payment, costs to be paid by the client who made the reservation are as follows:
- Cancellation between 40 and 20 days prior to the arrival date: 60% of the total amount.
- Cancellation between 19 and 8 days prior to the arrival date: 80% of the total amount.
- Cancellation at 7 days or less prior to the arrival date or if the client does not turn up without having informed the owner of an unforeseen delay: 100% of the total amount.
The amount to be refunded will be paid back to the bank account of the client by CROASEA within 30 days from the date of cancellation.
In the event of CROASEA being obliged to cancel the contract because of natural disaster or impossibility of accommodating the client, an alternative solution will be offered wherever possible.
If no solution can be found for the client or if the client does not wish to accept the solution offered, they will receive full reimbursement of all the amounts paid, including bank charges.
