Remarkable archaeological discovery on the Biokovo massif

A 4,500-year-old burial site has been discovered in the Biokovo mountain range on the Adriatic coast. This is the result of 8 years of research by professors from the University of Zadar and their teams. This site, on the heights not far from Makarska, is believed to belong to ancient communities of shepherds, who were very present in the region.
